Vintage Statement Choker Necklace

Vintage statement bib choker necklace, featuring a bold gold-tone botanical leaf motif with richly textured braided black cord collar. This striking piece showcases dimensional gold leaves, intricate chain-wrapped bead clusters, and vibrant multicolor glass or stone cabochons in red, blue, green, and cream tones.

The centerpiece is a dramatic cluster medallion with dangling chain tassels ending in ornate beaded drops, creating movement and visual interest. The design evokes 1970s–1980s bohemian / tribal revival style, with influences of Art Nouveau organic forms and runway statement jewelry.

The condition of this item is good, considering its age. This is an unsigned, artisan-style piece - most likely handmade. It is a delicate and beautiful piece of jewelry.  The end of the collar has a bit of fraying (as pictured in first photo).  There is some residue on the cabochons and chain, consistent with age of the piece.  There is no secure closure.
